2017 Tax Clinics in Burlington

Who can use this service?

People with modest income and simple tax situation only. Please be aware that low-income guidelines may change each year.

In general, low-income guidelines for 2016 tax year are about $30,000 for individuals, $40,000 for couples, and varying levels for families, based on number of children.

Be sure to bring all your tax forms, last year’s assessment notice, rent and/or property tax receipts, and medical receipts if over 3% of your income.

Need a hand with your 2016 taxes? If your income is low and your tax situation is simple, Canada Revenue Agency volunteers can help you complete your income tax and benefit return.

Just drop in – but please be prepared to wait. This is a very popular community service. The clinics are especially busy in the morning. To miss the long waits, consider visiting in the early afternoon instead of morning or wait a few weeks after the clinics start and come in April.
