Burlington, ON – The Honourable Karina Gould, Minister of Democratic Institutions and Member of Parliament for Burlington joins the community of Young Global Leaders.
Last week, the World Economic Forum informed Minister Gould that she would be joining this year’s class of Young Global Leaders and would be one of five representatives from Canada this year. The Class of 2019 consists of 127 leaders from around the world, including the most decorated Olympian female swimmer of all time, the managing director of a leading supermarket chain looking to ban plastic packaging and the CEO of YWCA Canada.
“It is an absolute honour to be among the Class of 2019 Young Global Leaders,” said Minister Gould. “Being a part of this community provides us with the opportunity to make a positive impact both at home in Canada and around the world. I look forward to collaborating with the other members on solutions to address the challenges we face today and creating a better future for the next generation of leaders.”
